- Remember to get your
sites updated for next year-It is important to update your websites in the

systems.
Sportsmanship
Schedule
Review
Winter
meeting/committee work
- Streamline administration
perhaps pass some administration back to the systems.
- Universal Coaching
Application (WSP form Code of Conduct) How did this work? Do we need to
make systems responsible for ensuring that all information on all coaches is
turned in?
- Roster review This went
fairly well. We may look at doing this again other options will be looked
at.
- Age/Weight Chart see
handout.
- Rule
updates/clarifications everybody is a lawyer will look at addressing a
few rule issues in the off season.
- 32 point rule this rule
is for sportsmanship.
- Huskies/Seahawks may
have systems contact the Seahawks/Huskies individually when it is their
turn. Seahawks confused with the fact that we have 17 systems in our
association.
- Grievance Committee
discipline schedule/limits/precedents we will discuss setting guidelines
for the grievance committee to act on with regards to suspensions, etc.
Officials
- Consistency enforcement
of zero tolerance (profanity); timing rule remind your coaches, parents,
players of the zero tolerance for any profanity, fighting, yelling at the
refs. Officials are aware that they need to be consistent in calling these
and they are cracking down.
- Need more officials,
adults in particular Every System is supposed to recruit two officials
every year. We need more adults.
Preseason clinics looking at doing some preseason
clinics with officials.
Early
sign-ups
- Early determination
number of teams; waiting list; remember split rules systems may want to
look at having early registrations so that there is a better count for the
scheduler on how many teams and at which level there are.
- A Preliminary 2005
Age/Weight Chart is attached see hand out.
Nominations for 2005 Officers No additional nominations were
offered at this time. We will revisit this at the next meeting.
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
Other
Business There is a system that would like to become part of our
organization. Shawn addressed the concerns. Bainbridge Island. We will be
discussing this in greater detail. They need to have a sponsor for one year and
need to be voted in.
