[Maps] [Rules] [ Age Weight ] [Weigh-In Procedures] [Calendar] [Trading Post] [System Reps] [Code of Conduct] [Game Day Report]

ABSENT: Robb Clarke, Lloyd Woodall, Wolverines (Pardee), Bothell
(Kusulos), Kirkland Black (Ashenbrenner), Kirkland Gold (Moore), Bellevue B&GC (Peterson)

MINUTES: Last meetings minutes on WEB

SCORES: Missing scores from Eastlake and Wolverine White (Cubs). Need scores ASAP on Saturday evening to update.

SCHEDULE REVIEW: The playoff and consolation schedule was reviewed. WE asked if any systems wanted extra games with none counted. Schedule at Bellevue High and Inglemoor was reviewed specifically. Tournament for Semi-pro in Lacey and Sammamish was reviewed.

REFEREES: Need each system to think hard about referees next year with new format for recruiting: 1-6 teams in system (1 ref), 7-11 teams (2 refs), 12 or more (3 refs). Those not complying may have a added fee for their system to pay. Need adult referees-coaches cannot ref without alot of schedule hassles so it is NOT recommended.

WINTER MEETING WORK: Need to focus on home and away jersey establishment, possibly splitting teams earlier (around 27-30), better field management (can start now for those hosting playoff games), more coaches clinics and camp visibility (me), better communication skills with players and clear-cut penalties for systems and coaches/players that fail to adhere to the rules and guidelines so there are no surprises.

CONDUCT OF PARENTS/COACHES: Canyon park rookie coach has been suspended for life due to behavior not consistent with GEJFA policies. Witnessed by numerous GEJFA persons in attendance and vote was unanimous. Grievance committee reviewing Redmond coach, but penalty was not too severe and coach was very apologetic about behavior.

NOMINEES FOR 2001: John Veentjer for Pres, Mike Pattison for VP and Paul Manjarrez for Secretary. Executive Board will appointed by President with council approving grievance
committee.
