Grievance Committee Report
o
Coach ejections/suspensions
assistant coach who was ejected, served his suspension and has been reinstated.
The Grievance Committee also decided to suspend the Head Coach for one game
based on the reports received. (Head Coach was subsequently temporarily
reinstated pending an appearance before the Grievance Committee at which the
initial suspension was reaffirmed.)
- Communications to and
from the officials keep them respectful.
- General behavior
some bad parent/fan problems still need attention. Attached article
regarding the death of new borns who were given an adult dosage of blood
thinner. Contrasted this event with all the attention given to the
Oregon/Oklahoma game. The relevance maintain perspective, keep priorities
in order. What is more important death of infants (little media
attention) or the mistakes made in a game (5 days and still running).
- PA System
play-by-play is unacceptable
- Know the Rules
(regardless, dont argue with or ride the officials)
- ZERO TOLERANCE !!!
Players
- Overweight players --
Dont play them -- Move them up
- Minimum physical
standards doctors note. Know of no rules address minimum physical
standards. Special consideration regarding certain physically challenged
players relative to the participation rules. Otherwise, there are no
waivers.
Substitution Rule just
reiterated that the substitution rule is reinstated (i.e., started over) at the
kickoff.
