WEB SITE UPDATES: All systems asked to get all web sites updated ASAP. Send links to Sham with a cc to John V. For the future, by the first of the calendar year, all systems should have updated information for the coming year to make it easier to refer incoming inquiries to the correct system.
CALENDAR REVIEW:

Overdue
– WSP forms & Code of Conducts: submit to Bob Peterson at the Club ASAP
· Due tonight –
o Master Rosters & birth certificates (including transfers & waivers): need one reviewer from each system to review all rosters next week.
o
Boys & Girls Club fees ($13 per
player): players who are members of Redmond Boys & Girls Club are eligible to
play GEJFA, however, they are NOT covered by secondary insurance of the Club;
cheerleaders are NOT included in the coverage; anyone who wants to obtain this
SECONDARY insurance coverage for players who are members of the Redmond Club or
for their Cheerleaders will need to pay $13 per player/cheerleader. Every
system is encouraged to seek additional insurance coverage; distributed copy of
GEJFA certificate of liability insurance.
· Due Sept 2 (next council meeting) – referee/field use & admin fees.
· Referee fees
o $300 for each of the first two levels.
o $450 for next three levels.
o $600 for seniors.
o Note, this is an estimate; the annual expenses and your balance from last year will be resolved at the end of the season. If you don’t have an official’s form, John will email it to you.
o Administration Fees: $200 per system plus $15 per team.
COACHES MEETING:

Attendance at the coaches’
clinic was outstanding.

Test results are returned to the
system. Mostly missed – Question #8 due to confusion that reference is to pass
interference rules; it will be revised.
·
Would like to obtain new
speakers like Don James or Frosty Westerling. If you have any connections, talk
with Shawn or John.
· NFL/NFF Coaching Academy – After 3 years, looking at changing the format next year to split attendees into two groups: those having attended before vs those who have not attended before.

Officials remain a problem – due
our best to get officials to jamborees.
· Discussion regarding rotating the jamborees around to various systems. Some coaches felt there were too many this year.
GAME SCHEDULE:

Preliminary schedules were
checked and gained unanimous approval. Official schedule will be posted on the
web ASAP. DO NOT reference any draft schedules previously distributed.
·
We are looking for outside
systems to play on the “bye” weeks. These will not count as conference games.
· Assign someone in the System to submit game scores. IMPORTANT – Due to Sham Austin by Saturday night / Sunday morning. Please report whether you are the visitor or home, winner or loser for checks and balances. There will be guidelines handed out at the next meeting on how scores are to be reported.
GAME REPORTS (download from website):
Assign someone in the System to submit game reports. IMPORTANT – e-mail or fax to Scott Shelton by Monday following game. Coaches report to their system, systems report to Scott. We will also have guidelines for this to be handed out at the next meeting.
MASTER ROSTER REVIEW:
· Review on Tuesday, Aug 26, 6:30 – 8:30pm, Bellevue Boys & Girls Club – need one volunteer from each system; pizza, subs & soda provided.

Marked up rosters and birth
certificates will be returned to systems for corrections.
· Submit additional players and obtain official stamp on corrected master roster from Bob Peterson by 9/12.
