2004 Guidelines for GEJFA Report(s) Submission

1.  Each team is required to complete a Game Report and submit it to their designated System Coordinator or System head.  The Game Report can now be accessed and filled out online by going to the "Team Report" link located on the left column of the GEJFA main page under Coach's Corner.  System Coordinator or Team Head will need to send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the form along with contents of the form to avoid confusion.  If System Coordinator or System Head will not be available to receive game reports, it will be his/her responsibility to contact the Webmaster located at the bottom of the page, no later than the day before the game to change the report recipient email address on the Team Report form.

2.  Each System needs to consolidate their individual team Game Reports into the System Game Report form which can now be accessed and filled out online by going to the "System Report" link located on the left column of the GEJFA main page under Coach's Corner.  The System Report recipient will need to send a confirmation email to the person who submitted the System Report along with contents of the form to avoid confusion.

3.  Each Field Manager needs to fill out a Score Report form which can now be accessed and filled out online by going to the "Score Report" link located on the left column of the GEJFA main page under Coach's Corner.  The Score Reporter will receive a confirmation email along with the contents of the report once the Score Report has been received to ensure proper scores are reported.  Score Reports should be filled out and submitted Saturday night/early morning Sunday so scores can be posted in a timely manner.

3.

  • All Game Reports are sent by email to the designated System Coordinator or System Head via the Game Report form.
  • All System Game Reports are sent to Scott Shelton by email (5starfootball@comcast.net) via the System Report form.
  • All Score Reports are sent to the Webmaster Sham Austin by email (shamaustin@comcast.net) via the Score Report form.

4.  Transfer all Game Reports supporting comments to the System Game Report form.

5.

  • Submit System Game Reports by Monday evening following the game.
  • Submit Score Reports by Sunday evening following the game.

6.  Be sure to tell your head coaches that Game Reports and Score Reports are required; they are not voluntary.

System Coordinators who receive game reports should also fill out the System reports.  If you do assign to someone else, you should ensure that person brings to your attention promptly any issues that are raised (ejections, complaints, protests, etc) so that you can promptly pass to Scott Shelton (GEJFA VP) or Bob Goldberg (referee coordinator) or John Veentjer (GEJFA President), as appropriate.  Some things like ejections are also promptly reported by the officials to Bob, but duplication doesn’t hurt on this matter.  For any changes to forms or form recipients, please contact the Webmaster located at the bottom of this page.
